Natalie Bui

Office Manager

​

Natalie Bui is a bassoonist and administrator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Music at San Jose State University (SJSU) in 2023, where they studied bassoon under Dr. Yueh Chou. Natalie performed with multiple orchestras and ensembles in the Bay Area, including the San Jose Youth Symphony, the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and the SJSU Wind Ensemble, where they played first bassoon in the consortium premiere of John Mackey’s clarinet concerto, “Divine Mischief.” They also performed in the orchestra pit for SJSU’s musical theater production of “Into the Woods” in November 2022.

 

In addition to office managing at SVCM, Natalie is also a concert manager and a program copy editor for SJSU’s School of Music. In July 2023, Natalie participated in Wintergreen Music Festival’s Arts Administration Fellowship program, where they worked alongside professional musicians and artists from around the country as a Patron Services and Executive Management fellow.

 

Outside of music and administrative work, Natalie can be found cooking, brewing coffee, attending live symphonies, and spending time with their hamster, Boingo.
