Ann Lin is a pianist and music educator with over 5 years of teaching experience. She began playing piano at the age of six and has developed a diverse musical background in classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary music. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies Performance from San José State University, with a minor in Business.

Ann believes that piano lessons should be both educational and enjoyable. She focuses on building strong fundamentals, technique, musicality, and confidence while tailoring lessons to each student’s individual goals and interests. Whether a student is learning their first piano pieces, exploring classical repertoire, or interested in jazz, pop, and improvisation, Ann strives to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Outside of teaching, Ann performs as a pianist in the Bay Area and continues to explore jazz, R&B, funk, and contemporary music.
