Harmony Road

The Harmony Road course is carefully constructed for children to learn the basic building blocks of music. Emphasis is on ear training, solfege singing, keyboard solo and ensemble playing, ensemble and rhythm activities, movement and music creativity. This exceptional course encourages the development of the “inner hearing”, which makes transposing, improvisation and composing easily accessible in their musical studies.

Music In Me

Music in Me is a dynamic readiness program for young children with emphasis on ear training, solfege singing, movement, keyboard activities, pitch and rhythm awareness. Creativity is stressed. Parent involvement in class and at home.

Toddler Playing Drums

Toddler Tunes

A joyful first music experience. Tots and parents share in a music-making program of rhythms, finger plays, active movement, keyboard exploration and singing.

Beginner Programs

Beginner group programs for violin, cello, guitar, and ukulele now available for students ages 6 years old to 11 years old. No experience is required to begin!

Esperanza Youth Choir

SVCM's Youth Choir is a semester-long course during the spring and fall seasons. No experience is necessary and students will get to perform at a SVCM recital at the end of the semester!

Violin Performance Program

SVCM's The Violin Performance Program combines private lessons with weekly Performance Lab sessions to develop technique, stage presence, ensemble skills, and confidence. Students in the Performance Lab practice performing in a supportive setting, build confidence on stage, learn by listening to others, and develop teamwork and musicianship skills. 

Flute Lessons

Beginner Piper Group

Designed for ages 6–10, this class builds essential skills like breath control, finger coordination, and musical expression—setting your child up for future flute success! With games, songs, and hands-on activities, every lesson is full of music and smiles.

ABRSM Theory Prep

ABRSM exams (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) are internationally recognized music exams that assess a student’s progress in playing an instrument or singing. They cover performance, technical skills (like scales), sight-reading, and aural skills. This program aims to help any student who is interested in receiving a performance grade, in passing the ABRSM music theory exam Grade 5.
