Antonio Solis is a 2025 graduate of San José State University, where he earned his B.A. in Music Education with a vocal emphasis. He has been teaching private music lessons since 2023 and brings over ten years of musical experience to his work with students. Antonio teaches voice, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, and beginner piano, and enjoys helping students of all ages build strong musical foundations while developing confidence and creativity.

Antonio’s teaching style combines practical musicianship with encouragement and strong fundamentals. He integrates music theory, ear training, and technique into lessons while also helping students learn the music they enjoy! His specialties range from contemporary and pop to R&B, classical, and non-classical vocal styles.

As a performer, Antonio has sung as a tenor with the internationally touring premiere ensemble, the Choraliers at San José State University. Through this ensemble, he has performed internationally in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Slovenia. In addition to choral performance, he serves as a lead singer and guitarist for his church band, regularly performing contemporary worship music.

Antonio studied voice under Professor Christopher Bengochea and received choral training from the Charlene Archibeque Endowed Choral Professor, Dr. Jeffrey Benson, and Dr. Corie Brown at San José State University. In Fall 2025, he also began serving as Choir Director at Fremont Christian School in Fremont, California, working with middle and high school singers in a program that had previously received 2nd place in the prestigious Northern California Golden State Choral Competition.

Antonio plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting in the near future as he continues developing as both an educator and performer. He believes music should be engaging, encouraging, and accessible for everyone, and strives to create lessons that inspire students to enjoy music while developing lifelong skills.
