Mr. Trevor Grant is a Bay Area based bassoonist, woodwind doubler, and educator. He has been heard in concert halls throughout Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and the USA. As a doubler he specializes in contrabassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, english horn, the saxophone family, and oboe and has performed in a variety of ensembles and premiered new works on these instruments. He is currently the 2nd bassoonist for the Master Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra in Los Altos, CA. Grant received his Bachelor of Music in Bassoon performance from San Jose State University studying under Dr. Yueh Chou. Currently Trevor can be found teaching bassoon and woodwinds privately, coaching local high schools double reeds, and performing in musical theater productions.
